Hermosa Beach Deck & Fence provides residential and commercial deck building, fence installation, and related outdoor construction services in Hermosa Beach, CA and surrounding communities. Services include but are not limited to custom deck design and build, composite deck installation, fence installation, deck repair, pergola installation, and related work.
We reserve the right to decline any project request at our discretion. Acceptance of a service request is not complete until a written proposal has been signed by both parties.
Free estimates are provided for projects within our service area. An estimate is a good-faith approximation of project cost based on the information available at the time. It is not a binding contract.
Final pricing is confirmed in a written proposal before work begins. Prices may change if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the project (such as structural issues, permitting requirements, or material availability). Any changes to scope or cost will be communicated to you before additional work proceeds.
All quoted prices are in U.S. dollars. Taxes, permit fees, or other government-required charges are the responsibility of the customer unless explicitly included in the written proposal.
Project start dates are scheduled after a signed proposal and any required deposit have been received. Scheduling is subject to availability and weather conditions.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after a deposit has been paid and materials have been ordered may result in forfeiture of the deposit, as those funds may have been applied to materials or project preparation.
We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather, material delays, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you as promptly as possible if a rescheduling is necessary.
Payment terms are outlined in your written proposal. A deposit is typically required before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon project completion unless other terms have been agreed to in writing.
Accepted payment methods are specified in your proposal. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by California law.
Hermosa Beach Deck & Fence reserves the right to place a mechanic lien on the property in accordance with California law in the event of non-payment.
Certain projects may require building permits or inspections from local authorities. When a permit is required, the responsibility for obtaining it will be specified in the written proposal. All work performed by Hermosa Beach Deck & Fence is intended to comply with applicable local building codes and regulations in California. The customer is responsible for ensuring that any HOA rules or deed restrictions are reviewed before work begins.
Hermosa Beach Deck & Fence stands behind the quality of its work. Specific warranty terms for labor and workmanship, if any, will be stated in your written proposal. Manufacturer warranties on materials (such as composite decking or vinyl fencing) are passed through to the customer per the manufacturer terms.
Warranty coverage does not include damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper use, acts of nature, or modifications made to the work after project completion. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to hi@hermosabeachdeckandfence.com.
